The Great Lakes Center for Occupational Health and Safety (GLC-OHS) is a recognized leader in the national and international movement to promote healthier workplaces and workers. The center is one of 18 Education and Research Centers funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.
The GLC-OHS:
- Educates graduate students in occupational health and safety
- Generates research findings to improve worker health and decrease injury risk
- Provides training to employers, unions and worker organizations
